Buster and Gickos Valentine Cookies

Gickos was frosting his cookies and he got some frosting in a little cut he had, so he was a little sad. I was trying to explain to the boys the meaning behind Valentines Day, and after I explained "it's for having a party, and giving special cookies, and gifts to people that we love." Gickos who do you want to give your cookies to? His reply: "My Gamma"
Buster simply decided to eat his, I guess he didn't have anyone in mind this year.

After we were all done, and we had a nice variety, we chose the four best and took them to the boys' favorite people...gamma and gampa.
Although Granny and Pappy hold a very special place in their hearts as well.

Time with friends

We spent saturday evening with some new friends, and we had a blast. The boys had such a great time, and we just talked the night away. There are so many wonderful people in the world, and I just love building relationships with them, and hearing the stories from their lives. It's such a blessing to find good friends that are uplifting and kind.

Domestic Hobbies

I am learning to crochet...crazy I know. But I've actually really enjoyed it, it's relaxing and I get something I like out of it when I'm done. I'm super slow, but I did complete my first project and I'm diligently working on my second. Sweet beanie huh?!

My Nail Appointment

Olinselot got home late from work, so we just hung out here at home for Valentines Day. I often tell Olin how lucky he is that he married such a low-maintainable girl..."Olin, I'm the only girl on the earth that doesn't have a set "monthly" appointment for anything" of course that's not true, but as far as he knows it is...so shh! We started to joke around a bit, and I told him about an acrylic nail appointment I had tomorrow and a pedicure.
Olin's reply was....what ya buildin'? (I was like WHAT? With a very sour and scrunched up face) You have to pick up nails for a pedestal, oh you're applying an acrylic top? What's that for?
He knew those were the only kind of "nails" I'd ever pay money for....haha Olin, you're such a smart @$$...guess the jokes on me.

Happy Valentines Day

I am so in love with this guy! He is all I ever want or need. It's so nice to have such a strong, loving, gentle man to call mine.

More good times

Freakin' fun day cross-country skiing in Island Park, ID
I don't need to say anything else...the picture says it all.

Winter Adventures

Cross-Country Skiing is my new winter hobby. I think this alone will make the winter more enjoyable. We have so many wonderful locations to go and enjoy nature at it's finest, untouched by man...mostly :) the trails are groomed. These are two of my good friends, Mandie is on the left and Yvonne is in the middle. We have such a great time.
